A small generative sketch — a thousand stipples drift toward an implicit density field defined by a noise function, like sand finding its low spots. You’ll see them clump along ridges that aren’t drawn anywhere; the field shapes them.
How it works
Each frame, every dot reads the gradient of an implicit noise field — two sines superimposed and drifted in time — and accelerates against it. Damped motion + small Brownian jitter keeps the cloud alive without flying apart.
The whole thing is about 30 lines. Try changing the constants in field()
to find different attractors.
